        MS 1Armed & Identified Confederate image.
Anthony Snyder Barksdale of the 14th VA.
Infantry, C.S.A. (Mosely's Battalion) is
holdind a Mississippi Rifle and has a Colt
Revolver tucked in his belt. This really clear
and hand colored Albumen print was made
from a Ruby Ambrotype either during or
very shortly after the war. The solid brass
oval frame is a treasure in itself. Only a
family of means could have afforded this type
of portrait and frame. The image is large,
about Full Plate size. Research and info

This rare relic was dug in the 5th Kentucky Confederate Infantry camp at Middle Creek, KY.
by Bill Ewing. This is a great piece with solid provenance.

MS 4.  Dug U.S. Artillery insignia.
Rare early crossed cannons made of stamped
brass with both attachment loops intact. Dug
by Mike Singer in the Washington, DC
fortifications and featured in the North-South
Trader Civil War magazine. Perfect condition
with no repairs whatsoever.

        MS 5Dug 14 th Corps I.D. Badge.
Neatly carved acorn inscribed "R. Lutz
Co. G 74 Ind Vol". Probably worn on his
service jacket, it was lost near the base
of Kenesaw Mountain, GA. and recovered
last year by Dan Ogle. Private Reuben
Lutz was from Goshen, Indiana and survived
all of the major western campaigns. His
pension papers reveal that he suffered from
a kidney ailment contracted at Triune,
TN. in June of 1863. He was in and out
of the Federal Hospital in Nashville and
returned to his regiment in May, 1864
in time for the Atlanta Campaign. He was
mustered out of service on June 9, 1865.
Voluminous binder included with copies
of the Regimental history and pension apps.

Dug Confederate spur.
Rare "Unbreakable" pattern spur dug in the camp
of the 57th VA. Inf. near Suffolk. I have never seen one
 like this before, real fat with a rowell that still spins.

MS 11 Armed Federal soldier tintype.
Clear 6th plate tintype featuring a full length
Yankee armed with an 1842 model musket
and all accoutrements. There are some hairline
cracks in the plate but as you can see, they
don't affect it that much. Cover is separated.

site in Northern Virginia.

CSBP 15. Dug group of Georgia relics.
Thick brass frame buckle and four "HORSTMANN AND
ALLIEN" Georgia state seal buttons dug in the camp of
the 15th Georgia Infantry by Ron Wallace in Fredericksburg,
VA. These Confederate relics were dug together and are
being offered as a group.

MS 16. High Bridge, Va. relics.
Group of relics dug in one weekend last
summer near one of the fortifications guarding
the railroad bridge there. This area was
of great importance along Lee's retreat from
the siege of Petersburg. The bullets are all
dropped and mostly Confederate. Of particular
interest is the solid brass elevation screw
knob from a Confederate cannon carriage.

        MS 17Dug Leech and Rigdon spur.
Much rarer than a Confederate buckle, this
Memphis Novelty Works product is in perfect
condition with a clearly legible "C S".  Rowell
is rusted away which is not uncommon.

is featured on the cover of  North-South Trader's
Civil War Magazine Vol. 33, #3 and comes from
 Mike Singer's fine insignia collection.

Helena, Ark. by Tim Shaner. Rare and in
excellent condition.

How rare is this? Straight out of Mike Singer's
insignia collection, this delicate gilded brass
shoulder bar is immaculate. You occaisionally
see pieces or barbarously repaired ones.
