Complete with cone cavity insert and in fine
working order. This mold would be a  nice
compliment to an Enfield rifle musket.

MS 7.   Dug Confederate kepi insignia.
Remains of complete kepi dug near Chickamauga, GA.
Infantry horn is lead filled and smaller than the typical
stamped brass type, the strap buckle is of a style dug
in Texas and Louisiana camps. The buttons are non-
matching and ornamental. No repairs or damage.

Unusually well carved and anatomically accurate

MS  9.   Confederate  6th plate Ambrotype.
High quality image of a young Infantryman wearing
a Richmond Depot Shell Jacket. The clarity is
such that you can see some of his block "I" buttons
with a loupe. The case is also very nice.

MS 10.   Great seal of the Confederacy.
One of the original copper electrolyte copies made in
1873 from the one and only Great Seal. These were made on
the order of Col. John T. Pickett to be sold for the benefit of
Sothern widows and orphans. This one is in it's original case.

Gilded brass mat about ninth plate size, and stamped
"BARNARD ARTIST" undoubtedly George Barnard
of Civil War photographic fame. Dug N. VA.

This is one good looking canteen with it's original
sling, stopper and cover. The spout is loose.

Dated 1838 and converted to percussion, this
fine relic was dug by Bob Westbrook in the
60's in North Georgia.

This rare relic is a crude copy of it's U.S.
counterpart. Same type as depicted on page 62
  of  Stanley Phillips' 1st supplement relic book.

This bit comes from Strasburg, VA. I would guess that
it is a barn find, as it is hardly pitted at all.
A nice set of rosettes would do it justice.

MS 22.  Extremely rare Dug Drummer's insignia.
This relic is depicted on page 209 of Charlie Harris's
Western Theatre relic book. Upon close examination,
it has been determined that this piece is from the
Indian Wars era.

This neat piece made of solid brass was dug
 by Gene Cooley on the Berkeley Plantation.
It probably adorned a piece of imported furniture.

MS 24.   Carved lead insignia.
Well, I now know exactly what this is. It is a
4th U.S. Army Corps badge. The 80 represents
the 80th Illinois regiment. This piece was dug at
Utoy Creek, GA. The 80th was the only 4th Corps
regiment in Sherman's Atlanta Campaign.
I now know this because Tim Hardegree
was nice enough to call me. He dug it.
