CWI 1. Alabama Captain 6th Plate Ambrotype.
Here is an image that recently came from a Birmingham area family. We know that he is a Western Theatre officer because he is wearing a Memphis Novelty Works Sword Belt rig complete with the ultra rare rectangular CS two piece buckle. His sword is also a Leech and Rigdon product. It is a foot officer's pattern with the CS floating in the guard. You can make out the "S" with a loupe. You can also see that he has "wings up" AVC buttons on his frock coat. This is an extremely clear image with unbelievable content. I am in the process of attempting to identify him. My photos don't do this one justice.

CWI 3. 6th Plate Yankee Tintype.
Western Unionist with Hardee Hat and character. Nice clear image. The buckle on his belt is not a standard US but I can't make it out. The patriotic motif on the matt adds a nice touch.
