This is one of those European pattern bullets that were used in
the Italian Civil Wars. The only problem is that this one was dug at
Varina VA. by Bob Burnham in a Seven Days era Confederate camp.
This one is rare, even in Europe. It is .54 Cal. and was surely meant
for the Austrian Rifle which was a Confederate mainstay.
Note the similarity to the M&M # 487 Von Lenke.
